GoCoin Forms

GoCoin forms allow you to generate either a one time payment form or one that can be customized to collect any fields you want. These then can be emailed or left static on a webpage. Your customers will use these forms to supply their payment information.

Make sure you have "Form" selected.

Global Settings

  • Form/Button Name- This will appear in the form's URL and on the "My Forms" page. This is purely for reference if creating a button.
  • Callback URL- A callback URL is triggered when the form is sent to GoCoin. “Callback” refers to the computer programming practice of sending executable code to another function, routine, or program.
  • Redirect URL- Where your consumer will be sent after they have processed their payment on our sever

Price Settings

  • Fixed Base Price- If you uncheck this box, your customer will be able to enter a customer amount. (Use this option if accepting donations i.e charity, politcal etc.)
  • User can select price currency- Select this to let your customer pick what cryptocurrency they would like to pay with. By doing so, the base price must be USD.

  • Price Currency- We currently only offer support for BitCoin and LiteCoin. Choose one, then select the display name for the currency.
  • Base Currency- Here you can choose a fiat currency to use as a base to create the crypto currency price. We currently are only dealing in USD.
  • Base Price- The base price is what the customer sees. Under the value tab you can enter a comma separated list of prices, which in turn will create a radio button for each price. This will also create an empty field named other, where your customer can enter a custom amount.
    • i.e 100.00,1000.00,10000.00,

Additional Options

If any of these fields are left empty, they will not appear on the form.

  • Item Name- Name of the product being sold
  • Item Sku- Sku number for item being sold
  • Item Description- Description of the item being sold
  • Miscellaneous- This field is for any additional info you might want the customer to add

Customer Information

These fields are intended for you, the merchant, to obtain necessary information from your customers. Pick and choose the fields you wish to display and select those which must be filled out in order to generate an invoice. Checking the "Enabled" button will ensure that the field is visible on the form. Checking the "Required" button will not allow the form to be submitted without the proper information entered. This is entirely custom so it is up to you to decide what info will be required.

Define Your Own Fields

You can change any of the user defined fields into a checkbox by including '###checkbox' at the end of the 'Display Name'. This type of checkbox may not be set to required at this time. Once again checking enabled will turn on the field. If you fill in a 'value' the field will not be editable by the user. It will be passed through the invoice upon creation. Checking "Required" will not allow the form to be submitted without the proper information entered.

Custom Text

Enter here your custom text and it will appear at the bottom of the form page, just above the payment button. Basic html tags will work in this field.

Here you can add custom .css to control the form styling. This usesBootstrap v3as the base

Terms and Conditions

Each of these will create a checkbox that will appear beside the text - the checkbox must be selected in order to complete the form.

If a link is included, the entire phrase entered into the 'text' field below will be displayed as a link, pointing to the url in the 'link' field.

Hit the save button to complete the form. You should be redirected to a new page for confirmation.

You can select view form to test the functionality.

On the "My Forms" there is a red tab to the right labeled "actions"

  • Edit- Revise your form by returning to the form creation page.
  • Show Link- Display the link for your form. You can embed this link on your site to be static. Meaning it will not have to be emailed and your customers can access it themselves
  • Get a Button- Here you can create a button link to embed on your checkout page which links to the form.

Just copy and paste that link into your web code where you would like the button to display. You can also delete the form if it is no longer needed.
