Refund Policy


Overview

All GoCoin Merchants should maintain their own refund policy.
GoCoin can assist in refunding customers on a Merchant's behalf, should the Merchant not wish to handle cryptocurrencies.


Policies and Procedures

1. Refund Address
GoCoin will only refund a purchase to an address from which it was sent. Refund addresses must be an address used as a transaction input.

2. Request for Refund
A Merchant can request a refund on behalf of a customer. The merchant must include an invoice ID for reference.

3. Refund Amount
The invoice will be refunded in the currency in which it was paid. An invoice can be refunded up to the full amount of the base price of the invoice, at current market rate.

4. Timeframe
Refunds must be requested within 90 days of the original transaction. GoCoin may take up to 5 business days to process a refund.

5. Fees
GoCoin may charge a $10 refund fee to the Merchant for any refunds not resulting from error on GoCoin's part. GoCoin may waive these charges at its discretion. The Merchant may pass these charges on to the customer based on their own refund policy.
